Snow Planet is the only indoor skiing field in the Southern Hemisphere and is located in Auckland, it became a living breathing ski resort in March 2005, it provides an atmosphere of all year-round skiing regardless of weather conditions.

Automated Solutions Ltd has equipped Snow Planet with Scheidt & Bachmann's top on the line Pay Station and Access Control System , based on the Chip Coin ® System which can use either Chip Coins or Barcode cards. To eliminate any misuse with concession or season cards, the NAW module is used, allowing each quest to have his or her own photo ID bar-coded card
